Traditional Lost-wax Casting Method:
The traditional lost-wax casting method is a process used to create bronze dolphin sculptures. First, our artists create a detailed sculpture of the dolphin in wax. Then, a mold is made of the wax sculpture using a plaster-like material. The mold is heated to melt and remove the wax, leaving a hollow cavity in the shape of a dolphin.
Next, the mold is filled with molten bronze, which is poured into the cavity. Once the bronze cools and hardens, the mold is removed to reveal the bronze dolphin sculpture. The sculpture is then cleaned, polished, and finished with a patina to give it its characteristic color. This process of lost-wax casting has been used for thousands of years and is still widely used today to create high-quality bronze sculptures with intricate details.
